Dr. Hazel Eaglesome

Dr. Eaglesome graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1986. She spent a year in country practice then moved to Toronto when she decided that her arms were not long enough to work with cows. She joined Blue Cross Animal Hospital in 1988 as an associate. In 1997 she became a partner in the practice and 2008 became the sole owner. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, cruciate ligament repair, and internal medicine. She lives with two cats, Madeline and Chicago.

Dr. Ciara O’Meara

Dr. O’Meara graduated with a biological science degree from the University of Guelph in 1993 and a Doctor Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999. She has been an associate at Blue Cross Animal Hospital since 2001. Her professional interests include surgery and feline medicine.

Dr. Erica Sloane

Dr. Sloane graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours Biology degree in 1999.  She went on to pursue her career in veterinary medicine and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004.  She joined the Blue Cross team in June 2005 after working for a year at a small animal clinic in Aurora.  She is specifically interested in internal medicine and caring for geriatric pets.  She lives with her two cats, George and Norm and is waiting for a little free time and energy before adopting her next Weimaraner.

Dr. Shervin Irannejad

Prior to finishing the qualifying exams at the University of Guelph, and being certified by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Iranijad graduated in 1997 from the Karaj Veterinary School. He practiced for 18 months in Alberta and Ontario before joining the Blue Cross team as an associate in April 2008.

Dr. Ann Swarney

Dr. Swarney graduated with a degree in Microbiology from McGill University then from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1997. She practiced as a farm vet in East Guillimbury for two years before moving to Toronto and becoming a city vet. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a strong interest in surgery and the veterinary aspects of Public Health. She shares her home with a cat named Bob, a guinea pig named Muffin and two hamsters , Cupcake and Sprinkles. Dr. Swarney joined Blue Cross in 2009 where she hopes to pursue her interest in pocket pet medicine.

Dr. Sorin Cimpean

Dr. Cimpean graduated from veterinary college in Romania in 1989. He spent three years working at the college there. In 1997 he moved to Canada and attained his licence to practice from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association in 2002. Since that time he has been practising veterinary medicine in Toronto. He is interested in ophthalmology and dermatology. His Vizula is called Oscar. Dr. Cimpean joined Blue Cross Animal Hospital in 2009.

Dr. Jeff Grams

Dr. Grams grew up in Brisbane in Australia before graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2010. He joined Blue Cross in early 2011 and is particularly interested in small animal internal medicine. Dr Grams loves to travel and hopes to explore as much of Canada as he can during his spare time!

Dr. Jasdip Dhillon

Dr. Dhillon graduated from College of Veterinary Science in India in 1996. Later he completed one year ECFVG certification program from College of Veterinary Medicine, Tuskegee, Alabama. Then he joined small animal practice in Cleveland, Ohio, and worked as an associate for 2 years. Since 2003, he has been working as an associate in Toronto area and joined Blue Cross Animal Hospital in March 2011. His professional interest includes both internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He has a cat named Molly.
