Our kitten wellness program is designed to get your kitten off to a good start. We not only perform regular physical exams and vaccinate against various viral diseases we examine the stool for parasites, discuss nutrition (which is extremely important to on going health), training (yes cats can be trained), microchipping, whether your cat should go outside and what additional vaccines they need if they do, as well as spaying or neutering.
A typical schedule for a kitten would be to give a vaccination against Panleukopenia, Calice and Rhinotracheitis viruses at 8, 12 and 16 weeks of age. Rabies is given at 18 weeks. At these visits we will do an examination and discuss the topics listed above and anything else you would like to know to help your kitten be safe, healthy and a good companion.
