In addition to the veterinarians, there are three teams at Blue Cross Animal Hospital who all work together to make you and your pet’s every visit or call a great experience: Animal Care, Client Care and Technicians. Every year we give a big thank you to our Technician Team during National Veterinary Technician Week, but we want to open our blog series for 2015 with an equally huge round of applause to our Client and Animal Care teams.
As you can guess from the names, our Client Care team is responsible for helping our human clients, while Animal Care takes care of your pets while in our hospital.
Client Care assists clients in person at our front desk, and on the phone in our call center. They welcome you and your pet when you come into the hospital, answer questions, book appointments and treatments, and follow up by phone to ensure that your pet is progressing as expected after a visit. Our Client Care team can also help you with diet or toy selection for your pet, and review any upcoming surgeries or appointments, addressing any questions you may have.
Animal Care are responsible of the comfort and safety of pets in our hospital. They feed and monitor patients, assist with holding for X-Rays and treatments, and log patient food, activity, and belongings. They keep the hospital clean and disinfected, the bedding laundered, and your pet’s cage warm clean, and dry. In short, they comfort, cosset and coddle.
