Born and raised in Toronto, Charlotte took up horseback riding at age 10 and has been in love with
animals ever since. She grew up with an abundance of pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs, fish,
cats, and an iguana! Charlotte chose the veterinary profession so that she can be surrounded by as
many animals as possible.
Charlotte’s typical day as a Client Care Representative consists of welcoming our patients inside for their
appointments, ensuring food and medication orders are set aside correctly, scheduling visits, client
communication, and cuddling our lovely patients whenever she has a chance.
Charlotte went to McGill University for her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Sciences with a minor in
Genetics and Marine Biology. From there, she was given the opportunity to live in Costa Rica and assist
in research projects for sloth, howler monkey, and Galapagos shark genetics! Charlotte has a huge soft
spot for fish and especially horses, having experienced working in horse stables for many years and she
still loves to horseback ride.
“I absolutely love being able to help make the experience of our furry friends as great as possible. I
immediately fell in love with how much time and care every member of staff gives to each pet!”
Currently, Charlotte has a rescue family dog named Lucy who she has had since the age of 10. She also
has two goldfish named Desmond and Molly, as well as two cats – Eleanor Roosevelt and Linguini. In her
personal time, Charlotte loves to craft and play the piano.
