Dr. Sohn was born in South Korea and raised all over Ontario. He obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne in Australia and has completed externships at various other animal hospitals in Canada. He chose to become a Veterinarian because he loves working with and being surrounded by animals.  

As a Veterinarian, Dr. Sohn’s day consists of examining furry family members, providing preventative care, treating sick or injured pets and addresses the concerns of their owners. He makes diagnoses, interprets lab results, and educate clients on best methods of patient care. He loves working at BCAH because of the amazing Team.  

In his spare time, Dr. Sohn likes to exercise, paint, and practice photography while snacking on some junk food. He has yet to get any pets after moving back to Canada but does hope to have a dog and a cat in the near future.
