November and early December might not seem like prime time for a vet visit, but it’s actually an excellent time to come in and see us.
Here are some of the reasons why you should book your pet for an exam before the holiday season:
The weather is not that bad yet. Even if we’ve had a bit of snow, you don’t have to worry about climbing over mounds of ice with an elderly dog or a cat in a carrier.
We’re generally a bit less busy, so it’s a great time to come in with timid or more sedate animals that prefer the quieter environment
You can take care of any medical issues that might flare up at an inconvenient point over the holidays. We’ll have time to do any tests that might be needed and get your pet on track to optimal health. Make sure your pet is rolling into the new year in tip-top condition!
You’ve been meaning to get those teeth cleaned. Don’t let Fido’s holiday greeting include knocking your guests over with extreme doggy-breath.
It might be time for your senior pet to have another health check. If your senior pet had an exam when you came in for your heartworm and tick meds in the spring, it’s time to come for another checkup before the snow flies. We recommend all senior pets see us every six months so we can address any emerging health issues as soon as possible.
Because our appointment schedule is (a bit) quieter, chances are you’ll get an appointment exactly when you want one.
We look forward to seeing you!
