Jihyo was born and raised in Korea, but moved to Canada a few years ago to study. 

Jihyo is a Veterinary Technician who has known she since was very young that she wanted to care for animals. Her first role looking after an animal was when she got her first dog, a little poodle named Bori. Looking after Bori confirmed her love for animals and the desire to look after them both personally and professionally. 

Jihyo studied at Sheridan College, completing the Veterinary Technician program there. In addition, Jihyo completed several placements during her studies, all in preparation for her role as a Veterinary Technician. 

At Blue Cross Jihyo assists Doctors' in surgery, performs Radiographs, Bloodwork, and many other treatments. 

Jihyo loves caring for patients at Blue Cross and enjoys working closely with the Doctors during Surgeries and Dental procedures. She hopes to continue acquiring a wide range of knowledge in order to provide the best care for her patients.

To add to the list of learning and special skills, Jihyo obtained a Barista Certificate right before she came to Canada because she loves coffee. When she isn’t busy creating the perfect cup of coffee, you can catch her crocheting cute outfits for animals!
