Lauren, Client Care Representative

Lauren grew up in Toronto before moving to Guelph to start studying Animal Biology at the University of Guelph in 2019. With her schooling and experience, she’s gained at Blue Cross and other animal hospitals, she has learned to appreciate the diverse range of care that the veterinary profession can offer. In the future, Lauren hopes to become a Veterinarian and help improve the health and welfare of both pets and their owners.

In a typical day at BCAH, Lauren works at the front desk. She greets our lovely patients and their owners, prepares food and medication orders, and booking appointments. She occasionally also offers a helping hand to Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians with holding their patients for exams and treatments.

Lauren also works and volunteers at several different companion animal and exotic animal clinics within the GTA and Guelph when she is in school.

Lauren has a 10-year old domestic cat named Gia that she grew up with as a family pet. She also has a 2-year old cat named Chip that keeps her company when she’s away from home in Guelph. Both cats are rescues and have very unique personalities!

When Lauren does not have her hands full with various veterinary tasks, she loves to bake, do yoga, and binge TV shows with a good cup of tea.
